LAPP History
Licking County Alcoholism Prevention Program has been a recognized provider of alcohol and drug-related treatment services since 1968. In 2016, we received our certification to also provide mental health services. Our continued community service combines experienced, knowledgeable staff with dedication and commitment to provide our clients with outpatient services. We provide support to our clients through individualized treatment programs.
LAPP determines client responsibility for fees on a sliding fee scale based on household income and family size. Many Licking County residents qualify for free assistance. LAPP also accepts Medicaid, Medicare and insurance clients and Visa and MasterCard for the client’s portion.
We are accredited by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and CARF International.
