To provide integrated treatment and recovery services for individuals and families experiencing behavioral health issues including alcohol and drug-related problems
In addition to the assessment and individual sessions, most clients in the Adolescent Services Program will be directed to one or more of the following groups:
This is a one-time group session that meets for four to six hours. It is designed for adolescent’s age 11 to 19 years old that would benefit from basic alcohol and drug education. Referrals for this group can be made by justice systems, educational facilities and/or parents.
This group is for adolescents 11 to 19 years old that are still enrolled in high school that have received a substance abuse diagnosis. This group meets weekly for approximately four weeks. Information covered in this group includes basic alcohol and drug information, disease model of AOD, stages of change, relapse prevention, coping skills, and family dynamics for AOD use.
This group is for adolescents 11 to 19 years old that are still enrolled in high school that have received a substance use disorder diagnosis. This group meets 2 to 4 hours weekly and runs for approximately twenty-six weeks. This group is intensive treatment for substance use disorder issues that follow The Matrix Model which includes early recovery skills, relapse prevention and a family education component.
